What You Need to Bring

We need some information and proofs from you before we can process your claim for housing benefit. It is very important you bring everything we need, otherwise we will not be able to help you right away and you will have to come back with the missing information or proof.

We require the following:

Proof of I.D.

This is evidence of your identity, such as:

• a birth certificate
• marriage certificate
• passport
• driving licence
• UK residence permit
• EEC identity card
• recent gas or electric bil

Proof of Current Address

Where you are living now, such as a recent gas or electric bill or T.V. licence.

Proof of Income / Benefit

If you are on benefit, you must bring a letter from the Job Centre confirming your entitlement.

If you are employed you must bring a letter from your employer confirming your time in employment with a signed copy of your work contract.

Proof of income must show details of the last two months such as:

• bank or building society statements
• post office account statements

Administration Fee

A £90 deposit is payable to UAH to secure your room / flat.
